Setting Up Referral Types & Adding Them To A Patient Chart

Set up and manage your referral types in Archy to track how patients find your practice. Adding accurate referral information helps you understand which channels bring in new patients and streamlines your record-keeping.

Adding Referral Types:

Go to Settings.

Select Patient.

Click Referral Options.

View the list of existing referral options.

Click the plus button to add a new referral option.

Enter the referral name.

Click Save to add the new referral option.

Once you’ve set up your referral types, apply them directly to patient records to keep your data up to date.

Adding A Referral Type To A Patient's Account:

Open the patient's account.

Go to the Overview section.

Click Edit.

Scroll to the Referred By field.

Enter how the patient was referred and add any extra referral information if needed.

Click Save.

With your referral sources in place and linked to patients, you’ll easily track how new patients find your practice—helping you grow smarter and focus your marketing where it counts.
