Schedule An Appointment Using The Appointment Finder

In this article, you'll learn how to use the Appointment Finder feature to efficiently schedule appointments for your patients.

Begin by searching for your patient.

In the patient's overview, you have two options to add a new appointment. You can either click on the plus next to appointments

or click on the Add Appointment calendar icon in the patient snapshot.

After selecting to add an appointment, choose your category and procedures.

Add any comments.

Then scroll down to the Appointment Finder.

In the Appointment Finder, select a specific start date or the date you wish to check availability.

You have the option to choose three or six months out.

You can also add preferences.

The preferences available are days, time slots, specific time ranges, providers, or hygienists.

Once you've set all your preferences, click on refresh slots. The system will start searching for available slots based on your preferences and schedule guides.

You will then see a list of all available dates and times, along with the providers that are available at those times.

Then select the doctor's name and choose the available operatory based on the provided information.

If the suggested operatory isn't the preferred spot for the patient, or isn't available, you can change it.

Select the desired operatory and click Save.

Then click View on schedule.

And that's it! You've successfully scheduled a new appointment for your patient using the Appointment Finder.
