In this article, you will learn the different ways to remove a patient from the ASAP list.
Note: Scheduling the appointment does not automatically remove the patient from the ASAP list.
Go to the ASAP list.
The first way to remove a patient is to find the patient you want to remove and click the 3-dot menu to the right.
Click Delete.
You will be asked to verify that you want to delete this item from the ASAP list.
Note: If you remove a patient from the ASAP list using this method, it will not create an appointment. If an appointment is already attached to the patient, the appointment will remain on the schedule at the original scheduled date/time.
The second way to remove a patient from the ASAP list is to click the 3-dot menu to the right of the patient.
Click Edit Request.
Uncheck Add Patient to ASAP List.
Click on Sawyer Brown…
Once you uncheck Add Patient to ASAP list, you will see the options for Set Appointment or Find Appointment.
You will need to set an appointment time or find a new appointment time for that patient. Once completed, click Save.
Note: This will add the appointment to the schedule and remove the patient from the ASAP list.
