Archy offers automatic appointment tags that can quickly convey important information that your staff might need to know about a patient's appointment. These include:
- Birthday - If the patients birthday is within 1 week of the appointment time.
- Family Appointment - If the patient has a family member with an appointment on the same day.
- New Patient - If it is the patient's first appointment.
- Online Booking - If the appointment was booked online.
- X-Rays - If the appointment includes an x-ray procedure code.
This article will walk you through the settings for your automatic appointment tags.
Appointment Tag Settings
To manage which appointment tags automatically show up on an appointment, go to https://portal.archy.com/settings/appointment-tags or navigate to your account Settings > Scheduling > Appointment Tags
Once here, you can select or de-select which tags you wish to automatically show up on appointment cards. Click the Save button at the bottom when you are finished.
Tag Icons and Colors
You can also change the color and/or icon for each of these appointment tags. See the article on Tags for Patient Notes and Alerts to learn more.
Appointment Tag Management
Any auto tags that you have selected to show on your appointments will be automatically added when the appointment meets the criteria for that tag. For example, the X-ray tag will automatically show up on the appointment if an x-ray procedure has been added. You will see the tag both on the appointment card and in the patient's snapshot when that appointment is selected.
You cannot remove automatically-added appointment tags. However, you can add additional tags to an appointment as needed. Edit the appointment, and click the + button under Tags to add more tags.
