At Archy, we rely on AnyDesk as our main support tool, enabling us to remotely access computers to assist in resolving issues, such as troubleshooting sensors or intra-oral cameras, and to securely connect to your machine, allowing for the extraction of documents and data for conversion. By installing AnyDesk on your operatory computers, you allow us to remotely troubleshoot and resolve any challenges you may encounter. This guide outlines the steps for the installation of AnyDesk.
Download Remote Client
Open a browser and enter the URL to download the Archy-Remote-Client.exe
Install Remote Client
Once the download process finishes, install the client application.
Client Run to finish the installation process.
Run Remote Client
After installation is finished, open the client. At this point, you will see the application running similar to below. Click Install AnyDesk on this device... and follow the instructions.
Uncheck Install AnyDesk Printer and press Accept & Install.
Press the Copy button to copy the ID and provide that to any of the Archy support agents. You can now minimize the application and let it run in the background.
Once Archy has the client ID, we will be able to proceed with setting up the necessary tools to extract the documents and data to our end.
NOTE! - Please ignore the message regarding a newer version of the AnyDesk client; we are using a custom-built version, so an update is unnecessary.
Uninstall Remote Client
If you need to uninstall/reinstall the remote client at any given point, close the AnyDesk remote client using the action menu in the upper right corner.
To uninstall AnyDesk, go to your Windows Apps & features console where all the installed software is and uninstall the client from there.
NOTE!: DO NOT uncheck “Remove configuration files”, this will preserve your AnyDesk address shown above. If for some reason that got changed, please notify us of the new address.
