Enter the new patient's information.

There are two ways to add a Contact Person.
-
If the Contact Person is not in your system, click + New Person after clicking in the Contact Person text bar.
Fill out the Contact Person's information and click Add Person.
Note: If creating a new person who is not already in your system, you’ll be asked to provide status (use “Non-patient” if the person will not be a patient of the practice), Relationship to the patient, name, date of birth, preferred contact method, either phone or email (depending on preferred contact method), and address (optional).
2. If the Contact Person is in your system, you can type their name and select it once it populates.
Once you select the Contact Person, you will notice that the Preferred Contact Method is greyed out and says Contact Person. This indicates that the Contact Person is the preferred method of contact for this patient.
Once you have completed the form, click Create.
Click on the Patient's Name to view their Patient Overview.
The Contact Person has been added as their contact person and their Preferred Contact Method is updated to "Contact Person".
