Archy Instructions for Installing NanoPix Sensor from Eighteeth
NanoPix sensors are shipped with a USB thumb drive that contains software drivers and calibration files. You must install the software drivers on time on any machine where NanoPix sensors will be used. Additionally, you must install the calibration files for each NanoPix sensor that the location utilizes (ex Size 1, Size 2)
Here are the steps:
- Insert the USB thumb drive
- Install the TWAIN software found on the USB drive
- Open AIS Settings page
- Click on the NanoPix Settings tab and make sure the NanoPix integration is enabled.
- To install the calibration files, click the Add Button
- Navigate to the USB drive and locate the file called config.ini inside the calibration folder. (Note, it is common for Eighteeth to call the folder calibration or calibration2)
- When prompted, supply a friendly name for this sensor, such as NanoPix Size 2. (Note: If you are not prompted for a name, simply click the Rename button).
- Repeat the calibration installation for each sensor the practice wants to use on this machine.
When selecting a sensor from the Archy Imaging page, use the name that was entered for the calibration folder.
