Some sensors return images in reverse order, flipped, or in unexpected orientations because they do not contain accelerometers. To change the rotation of images, mirroring of images, or capture order for specific x-ray sensors, follow these steps. You can complete this once for each sensor and it will apply to all computers in your office.
If you have not yet downloaded AIS to your computer, do this as the first step. See our article on how to install AIS here.
Go to the Imaging section of your Settings in Archy, located under Settings > Clinical > Imaging
Here you will see devices that have been added to your office. If you do not see the device you are looking for, you can add a new device with the plus button.
You can add any devices to be saved in your practice list of devices. In order for devices to appear here, you may need to plug in the x-ray sensor or intraoral camera to see it listed.
To configure the mount preferences, open the 3-dot menu for the device and select Edit.
In the Mount Preferences section, select Start Setup
Click "Capture Image" to take a 2BW 2PA test mount series. You will see the images import into the test mount.
If any of the images appear backwards or upside down, adjust the mirroring or rotation. If the images imported in the reverse order, change the capture order.
Once you are satisfied with how the images in the mount appear, click Save. These preferences will now be saved anytime this sensor is used on any computer in your practice.
Repeat these steps with any other imaging devices as desired.
