Updating Archy Imaging Service (AIS) Version

Keeping your Archy Imaging Service (AIS) up to date is essential for ensuring that imaging functions properly and that you have access to the latest features and improvements. Follow the steps below to update AIS. You will be prompted in Archy when it's time to update by a small red number on the logo in the upper left-hand corner of Archy.

There are two ways to update AIS. 

Option 1

1. Click on the logo in the upper left-hand corner of Archy. If there is an update available you will see a red notification here.
2. Select "Software Information". If there is an update available, you will see a red notification here.
   
3. Click on "Install" on the banner notifying you that there is an update available. The update will immediately start processing.
   

No Update Available? If the "Download AIS" button does not appear, you are already on the most up-to-date version of AIS. No action is necessary.

Option 2

Navigate to the patient's imaging module.

Look for the Update Available button in the upper right corner, next to the settings icon. If an update is available, this button will be visible. Click on it.

The software will start updating automatically. After the update downloads, it'll install locally on your machine, upgrading AIS to the latest version. Once the update is complete, the Update Available button will disappear. Now, you're ready to resume your imaging tasks with the updated version of AIS.

Checking Your Current Archy Imaging Service (AIS) Version

If you want to verify which version of AIS you are running:

1. Open Archy Imaging Service from the desktop icons on your computer.

2. Click the gear icon in the lower left-hand corner to open Settings.

3. View your current AIS application version on the settings page.
