How to Install Clio Connect Driver and Software
Follow the steps below to install the Clio Connect driver and software on your Windows computer.
Step 1: Download the Necessary Files
Before starting the installation, make sure you download the appropriate files for your system.
32-Bit Twain Driver
64-Bit Twain Driver
Windows 10 Patch (If using Windows 10)

Step 2: Install the Driver
Determine your system's architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) to choose the correct Twain driver. If you're unsure, you can find this information by:
Right-clicking on This PC (or My Computer) on your desktop or in File Explorer.
Click Properties.
Under System, check whether your system type is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Run the Twain Driver Installer:
Double-click on the driver file you downloaded (either SetupIntraOralUsb_32bit.exe or SetupIntraOralUsb_64bit.exe).
Follow the on-screen prompts to install the Twain driver.
Restart your computer after installation if prompted.
Step 3: Install the Windows 10 Patch (Only for Windows 10 Users)
If you're using Windows 10, apply the necessary patch for compatibility.
Run the Windows 10 Patch Installer:
Double-click the file SetupIntraOralUSB_Patch_FW_Win10.exe you downloaded earlier.
Follow the installation instructions and let the patch update your system for compatibility with Clio sensors.
Restart your computer after the patch is installed.
Step 4: Install Clio Connect Software
Now, install the Clio Connect software, which will help you interface with the Clio sensors.
Run the Clio Connect Installer:
Double-click on the downloaded Clio Connect Setup.exe file.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install Clio Connect on your system.
Once installed, launch the Clio Connect application.
Step 5: Verify the Installation
Ensure that your Clio sensor is properly connected to your computer.
Open Clio Connect and check if the software recognizes the device.
If the device is detected, you’re all set! If not, try restarting your computer and reconnecting the Clio sensor.
Troubleshooting Tips
If Clio Connect doesn't recognize the sensor, try unplugging and reconnecting the device.
Make sure you installed the correct driver for your system architecture (32-bit vs. 64-bit).
Ensure that all necessary patches are applied, especially if using Windows 10.
