Archy offers customizable alerts to highlight important information. Alerts can pop up when clicking on appointments or patient profiles, keeping you informed about allergies, premedication needs, or other items specific to an individual patient.
This article will walk you through the settings for your alert appearance as well as automatic patient alerts.
Automatic Alerts
Archy can automatically apply alerts to patients if they have indicated allergies, medical conditions, premedication needs, or pregnancy when filling out their medical history. Automatic alerts can also be set when a patient's balance is overdue, they are overdue for a prophy or perio recall, or they are a repeat no show patient.
If you edit these alerts, they will no longer be automatically updated if information changes because Archy will not override changes you have manually applied. However, a new auto alert will be created if information changes -- for example, if a patient resubmits their medical history with a new allergy or premedication requirement, a new alert will be created.
Managing Alert Appearance and Automatic Alerts Preferences
To manage how alerts appear in Archy as well as which auto alerts you wish to see automatically triggered, go to https://portal.archy.com/settings/notes/alerts or navigate to your account Settings > Patients > Alerts.
In this section, you can set the alert appearance, and turn on or off auto alerts.
When you have finished adjusting your settings, click Save at the bottom of your screen.
