From the Patient's treatment plan, click on the 'three dots' on the far right of the procedure you would like to modify the insurance/patient estimate for.
Click on 'Edit Estimates'
Click on 'Prim Ins Est'; and change the estimate to the desired amount.
If you would like to change the Patient Estimate/Responsibility; enter the desired amount here.
Click on 'Save'
You will now see that the 'Ins Amnt' has been updated to '-' with a tooltip icon indicating 'Primary fees manually overridden'; as well as the newly updated Patient Responsibility.
You can also add a Secondary Insurance Estimate; select the 'three dots' again
Click on 'Edit Estimates'
Click on 'Add Secondary Estimates'
Enter the anticipated Estimate of the Secondary Insurance;
note: Archy will not predetermine or calculate this amount for you.
For Secondary Patient Estimate & Deductible; leave blank or enter the amount the Secondary Insurance will require the Patient to Pay
Click on 'Save' when done entering the desired amounts.
You can now see the combined insurance estimate (primary + secondary); as well as the updated Patient Estimate
To see how the estimates appear on a Treatment Plan; select the box on the far left
Click on 'Print Selected Procedures'
In a separate browser tab, your Treatment Estimate will appear.
Note: 'Ins Est' is the combined total of Primary + Secondary Insurance
Should you decide to revert back to the original estimate on the primary insurance provided by Archy; click the 'three dots' and 'Edit Estimate' again
Click on 'Reset to Auto-Estimates'
Click on Confirm; any values previously entered for estimates will not be remembered.
You can now see the original estimate of $45 to be paid by the primary insurance, and the secondary estimate is retained.
Note: You can see a stamp of the name of the employee & date in which an estimate was last modified or changed.
Click on 'Save' to finalize.
You will now see the combined insurance amount paid as $55; note this is more than the negotiated rate. As well as the patient portion is $0 indicated by the '-'.
