Electronically Signing Treatment Plans

In this article, you will learn how to send a treatment plan to a patient for electronic signature either by text message or by sending it to a kiosk.

From the patient's chart, open the treatment planner.

 

Select the procedures you want on the treatment plan.

 

There are a few options when selecting a treatment plan to send:

1. Send a treatment plan you have already created using the drop-down under Master Tx Plan.

2. Select procedures from the Master Tx Plan and send them.

3. Click the + Icon and Select Create New TP.

 

There are a few options for sending a treatment plan:

1. Send the treatment plan as a text message to be signed.

2. Send the treatment plan to a Kiosk for signature.

 

If the treatment plan is sent to a Kiosk, you will be given a 4-digit PIN to input into the Kiosk.

 

If the treatment plan is sent via text, you will select the family member, if there is more than one, and click Send.

 

Click Close.

 

Once the patient signs the treatment plan electronically, it will show in the patient's document center under Treatment Plans.
