Lab Cases: Associating Lab Cases With An Appointment

This article will guide you on how to associate a lab case with an appointment.

Begin by creating your appointment.

Proceed to search for your patient.

Select the treatment plan category type.

Click on the blue plus under additional procedures.

Choose the procedure from their treatment plan that has the lab case created.

Click on add.

Remember to select your provider.

Save the appointment.

Open the saved appointment.

You'll notice the lab case on the right side of the appointment screen.

If you see an exclamation point next to it, it indicates that the lab case is estimated to arrive after the procedure's scheduled date. You might need to reschedule this appointment.

Hover over the appointment to see the attached lab case.

In the snapshot, you'll notice that it's been sent.

Congratulations! You've successfully added a lab case to an appointment.
