Mango Voice: Inbound Phone Calls

Discover the features of Mango Voice inbound phone calls. After assigning an extension to a computer, inbound calls to that extension trigger a pop-up alert on the Archy screen, displaying caller information. This pop-up appears on all computers connected to Mango Voice with an extension, but only remains on the computer where the call is answered. The Archy pop-up displays incoming, ongoing, and outbound calls using the assigned extension.

Handling Inbound Calls

Notice the pop-up alert on the Archy screen when an inbound call comes in. This pop-up displays information about the caller.

Answer the call by picking up the phone.

Creating a New Patient Profile

If the inbound call is from a new patient, create a new patient profile by clicking the create patient option. Note that if the caller's number doesn't match an existing patient, the caller ID will still display, but it won't link to a patient profile.

Accessing Existing Patient Information

If the call is from an existing patient, additional information such as the next appointment and linked family members will be available in the pop-up.

If the call pertains to the existing patient, click their name to open their patient overview.

Handling Multiple Patients with the Same Phone Number

If multiple patients share the same phone number, the pop-up will list the patient's name along with a "could be" indicator. This suggests that the caller might be another patient linked to the same number, not necessarily the patient shown in the pop-up.

Managing the Call Pop-Up

Minimize the call pop-up by clicking the arrows in the top right corner.

Reopen the minimized pop-up by clicking the green phone icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

Close the pop-up completely by clicking the x in the top left corner. Note that this action won't disconnect the call. To end the call, hang up the phone.
