Adding Providers or Proxy Users For E-Prescriptions (DoseSpot)

Archy Partners with DoseSpot to offer e-prescriptions for licensed providers to send electronic prescriptions. This tutorial will walk you through the setup to use ePrescriptions for a provider.

Click the Employees tab from the left-hand toolbar.

Select ePrescribing.

Go to the Prescribers section, then click the plus icon to add a new user.

Choose to add either a Provider or a Proxy. Providers can send prescriptions directly. Proxies can prepare prescriptions for approval, but the provider must approve and send them.

The first provider you register with DoseSpot in Archy is included in your Archy subscription. To add extra providers, select Provider and note the $55/month cost.

To add a proxy, select Proxy and review the $30/month cost. These fees are charged directly by DoseSpot.

When you’re ready, select the provider from the dropdown menu

Fill out all required information.

If prescribing controlled substances, enter the DEA number as well.

Click Save to submit.

Your account will enter provisioning and may take up to two business days to finalize approval.

Once approved, you’ll see the eRx icon on the left-hand toolbar.

Next, complete your identity proofing within DoseSpot.

It is important to note that if you have or have had in the past any e-prescribing with another platform, we may need to complete a Change of Vendor request. It is recommended to reach out to us on the last business day before your go-live date so that we may submit this request on your behalf. Once you have submitted your last prescription in your existing e-prescribing platform is best so that you are "Active" before your Go Live date and not "Provisioning." If we complete this before you go live, you will not be able to use your current e-prescribing platform.
