The Appointments Dashboard provides a detailed breakdown of all appointments that are marked as scheduled, completed, canceled, or no-show. This dashboard updates regularly. Updates may take anywhere from a few minutes to up to 20 minutes.
Employee Access
Only employees with operational permission enabled for their Role can see this dashboard.
Appointments Dashboard Filters
This dashboard defaults to the last month for the appointment date. You can change the date by using the Appointment Date filter. This filter applies to all tabs in this dashboard.
There are also other dashboard filters you can apply:
- To filter by a specific appointment category, use the Appointment Category filter. This filter applies to the summary tab in this dashboard.
- To filter by a specific procedure or set of procedures, use the Procedure filter. This filter applies to the summary and appointment details tabs in this dashboard.
- To filter by New or Existing patients, use the Patient is New or Existing filter. This filter applies to all the tabs in this dashboard.
Summary
This tab provides a summary of many different appointment statistics.

Completed Appointments - The total number of completed appointments in the selected time period
Appointment by Status: This chart shows the number of appointments for each day in the selected time period by status (e.g., completed, no show, cancelled, etc).
Appointments Booked Online vs By Practice: This chart shows the number of appointments in the selected time period based on whether they were booked online or by the practice.
Hygiene vs. Not Hygiene Completed: This chart shows the breakdown of completed appointments in the selected time period based on whether they are hygiene appointments or not.
Hygiene appointments are appointments including CDT codes D1110, D1120, or D4910.
Appointments by Provider: This chart shows the breakdown of appointments by provider and the appointment status.
Completed Procedures: This chart shows the number of times each procedure was performed (e.g., completed)in the selected time period.
Procedures by Category: This chart shows the number of times a procedure in each procedure category was performed (e.g., completed) in the selected time period.
Hygiene Appointments
This tab provides detailed information on the hygiene appointments. A hygiene appointment is any appointment that includes a hygiene service code 'D1110', 'D1120', or 'D4910'.

Completed Hygiene Appointments: This is the number of completed appointments that are defined as hygiene appointments
Breakdown of Hygiene Appointments: This chart shows the breakdown of hygiene appointments based on the practice’s simple name for D1110, D1120, and D4910. This includes all hygiene appointments in the selected timeframe, regardless of the status of the appointment.
Hygiene: New vs Existing Patients: This chart shows the breakdown of patients with a hygiene appointment in the selected time period based on whether the patient is a new patient or an existing patient.
Hygiene Reappointment Rate: This chart shows the daily hygiene reappointment rate over time. The scale can be changed to show by day, week, month, etc., by clicking on the x-axis "Appointment Date" title.

This tab provides a report with each of the appointments broken down in more detail.
