Using the Payments Overview for End of Day Reconciliation

In this article, you'll learn how to navigate to the new payments option and find the Payments Overview. This is a great place to go if you are looking to print an end-of-day collections report.

A few things to note about the Payments Overview:

• Who can view the Payments section? Only those employees with the permissions for Financial Reporting will be able to view the Payments section.
• The Payments Overview is where you will find a fully up-to-date list of all transactions for the day. If viewing the Collections dashboard in Reporting, keep in mind that numbers may be different because this dashboard has a slight lag of up to 20 minutes.
• You can print or download this report.
• You cannot click through to individual patient ledgers from the Payments Overview at this time.
• You can view one day of payments at a time. To view multiple days or something like an end-of-month report, you'll need to go to your Collections dashboard in your Reporting section.

 Select the Payments icon in the left-hand toolbar navigation. Clicking on this will take you to the payments overview.

In the payments overview, use the Date Picker to select the specific day you want to view.

Note: If you want to view more than one day, please navigate to your Reporting section in Archy and view the Collections dashboard.

After selecting the date, you'll see a detailed list of all payments made on that day.

This list is categorized by patient and insurance carrier, and further broken down by payment method. Each payment method has its own subtotal. The total of all payments is displayed at the bottom right of your screen.

 If you want a hard copy of this information, you have the option to print this view or download it as a CSV file.
