The Aging dashboard provides an overview of the estimated amount of money still owed to the practice, both by insurance carriers and patients. This dashboard updates regularly. Updates may take as little as a few minutes and up to 20 minutes.
Employee Access
Only employees with the Financial Reporting permission enabled for their Role can see this dashboard.
Aging Dashboard Filters
Patient Full Name: This helps search for a specific patient when using the Insurance Details, Patient Details, or Service Details tabs.
Fully Invoiced: This filters the Patient Details tab, showing only patients with accounts that are either fully invoiced or not, depending on your selection.
Days Since Last Payment Requested: This filters the Patient Details tab, showing you the patient list based on the aging bucket chosen, for those patients who have or have not had a payment requested from the aging dashboard. (0-30 days, 61-90 days, 90+, Never Requested)
Has Outstanding Claim: This filters the Patient Details tab, showing you the list of patients who do or do not have any open claims. Open claims are those that are in the draft or send status.
Has Payment Plan: This filters the Patient Details tab, showing you the list of patients who do or do not have active payment plan(s).
Summary
This tab of the Aging dashboard will provide a high-level overview of your aging numbers. (Outstanding Collections)

Patient Details
Note: Payment requests (via text, email, and/or mailed statements) will be sent to all patients listed below. Use the filters at the top of the dashboard or within the table columns to narrow down the patient list before sending payment requests.
Patients Who Owe Money: This report shows a list of all patients in the practice who have an outstanding balance.
Patients With a Credit Balance: This report shows a list of all patients in the practice who have a credit balance on their account. (This does not include wallet balances. There is a separate column in the report for those.)

Outstanding Claim
- This is a Yes if the patient still has any claims in the Draft or Sent status
- This is a No if the patient has no claims in the Draft or Sent status
Primary Insurance Carrier - This is the patient's primary insurance carrier.

- This breaks down the Patient Balance into the amounts that have been outstanding for 0-30 days, 31-60 days, 61-90 days, 91-120 days, and more than 120 days

A note about sending payment requests
- If you send a payment request to patients who are not fully invoiced, invoices will be automatically created for their full balance.
- Requests will be sent to ALL patients listed in the report. Trying to highlight or select patients within the report does not apply a filter. You'll need to use the filters at the top of the dashboard or within the columns of the report to narrow down your list of patients before sending a payment request.
Service Details
This report breaks down the aging report by the service type, which can be either an appointment or a patient account adjustment.

Age is the number of days since the date of appointment or the date of a patient account adjustment.
Provider means the Credited Provider, which is the person who was credited for each individual procedure. This may be different from the Appointment Doctor, who is the hygienist or doctor assigned to the appointment.
