The Production dashboard provides information on gross production, net production, adjusted production, and more. This dashboard updates regularly throughout the day. Updates may take as little as a few minutes and up to 20 minutes. Some of these figures are rolling numbers, and don't lock at the end of each day.
In this dashboard, you can select a date or a date range. When you select a date or date range, here is how the production numbers will reflect, either by date of service or date of entry.
- Gross production = date of service
- Net production = date of service
- Adjusted production = Date the production amount (or adjustment) is recorded in Archy
- This is the date of service for the initial adjusted adjustment amount (which typically matches the original net production)
- Then, if further adjustments are made on the appointment procedures, invoice, or claim, these adjustments are recorded as adjusted production on the date of entry.
Employee Access
Only employees with Financial Reporting permission enabled for their Role can see this dashboard.

Provider Day Sheet
This report provides a list of all completed appointments with the date of service in the selected time period, by provider.
Production by Patient
This report breaks down the production by patient appointment.
What is the date in this report?
- If the date has just adjusted production, the date is the date that the adjustment was made
- Example: a patient has an appointment on April 25th. The claim came back overpaid on July 1st, but the patient's responsibility wasn’t adjusted down until August 3rd. If looking at Production for August 3rd, you will see an adjusted production amount for the appointment that occurred in April.
Production by Procedure
Net Production by Procedure Category: This chart shows the total amount of production by appointment category during the selected time period. For example, Diagnostic, Preventive, Restorative, etc.
Net Production by Procedure Detailed: This chart shows the total production per procedure code, during the selected time period.
Production by Procedure

Paying Providers on Production
For practices that pay providers on production, adjusted production may provide a more accurate picture, since it typically reflects changes on the date that they happen (date of entry). Net production for a past appointment date can change over time since it relates to the date of the appointment, making it less reliable for calculating compensation based on production.
Read on to learn about the differences between adjusted production, net production, and what can cause net production to change over time.
