Adding Provider's Medicaid ID or Insurance ID to DentalXChange

In this article, you'll learn how to add a Provider's Medicaid ID number or insurance ID to Dental Exchange. This is particularly useful when these IDs are required on your claims.

Navigate to your claim center.

Select your Dental Exchange login. This action will take you to your Dental Exchange homepage.

Click on the account option located in the upper left corner.

Choose Add or Change Providers.

Find your rendering provider and click the Edit pencil icon next to their name.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see additional credential.

Click on Add credentials.

Choose the Payer you need to add, for instance, Medicaid of Connecticut.

Select the Credential Type. For example, Medicaid Provider Number.

Next, choose the Provider Type of either a billing provider, rendering provider, or both.

Input the provider's Medicaid ID or Insurance ID.

Click on the Save icon.

Select Save and continue.

Remember, you can repeat this process for any providers where a Medicaid ID or an insurance ID is required.
