The begin the process to host/swap for a practice's office phone number should not begin until 7 days before Go live for Conversion practices and 30 days for Startup practices.
We begin the process with providing the Letter of Authorization form (LOA) to the practice.
Only after the LOA is completed by the practice does the process begin. We will reach out to the practice to complete a verification process, a new LOA sent by our partner (Twilio), register the number, and create a JIRA after the number is registered to complete the swap.
Please, note that we need to wait for some of these items to update in the Twilio platform between these steps. This whole process may take 3-4 weeks at this time.
Why this many days? There are times where there are errors that occur in the middle of these processes and we need to create Twilio tickets with their team and wait for them to be resolved before we are able to proceed.
