New Imaging Features: Enhanced Annotations

We are thrilled to announce some new features for our imaging. This video will guide you through the new features in Archy's imaging, enhancing your ability to annotate pathology, add text to your images, and include image annotations on your claims.

Navigate to your patient's imaging.

Open one of their mounts.

Double-click an image to open it.

The first new feature is the new pencil icon on the left-hand toolbar. This feature allows you to notate your own pathology on the image. You have two options.

Choose the first option to free draw a shape to tag a pathology.

Draw freely by left-clicking and drawing.

Then select the category from the list, such as carries incipient, carries progressed, or periapical radiolucency.

You can also write internal notes.

Click confirm when done.

Hover over the highlighted area on your image to see the information. You also have the option to delete it if necessary.

The second option in the new pathology is to draw a box.

Draw a box by left-clicking and dragging over an area.

Select the category from the drop-down, for example, filling.

Add any notes and confirm again.

Hovering over the box will display the information and the option to delete.

The next new feature is the T icon on the left-hand toolbar for adding text.

Select the T icon to enter a new text box.

Type in the text box.

Left-click and drag the text box to your desired location.

Use the new option to turn off the pathologies or drawing annotations temporarily, in the show layers icon in the upper left.

For the final imaging feature, navigate to your patient's claim center.

Open a claim that requires an attachment.

Click Add attachment.

Select images and open the mount you want to select the image(s) from.

Select the image or images you need and click review.

Use the new option for user annotations to include annotations on the image attached to the claim. If you have Perl AI, you'll see an additional option for Pearl AI annotations.

Click upload.

Once your images are attached to your claim, you'll see two instances: the original image and the image with your annotations.

We provide both the original and the annotated image to ensure that insurance companies receive the untouched original. This allows them to view the X-ray without any interference.
