Note: Please be sure to keep the original packaging and booklet that comes with your MouthWatch Camera.
First Plug in your MouthWatch camera into a USB port on your computer.
Note: If setting up a MouthWatch Plus+, use a USB 3.0 Port.
- USB 2.0 - Black Port
- USB 3.0 - Blue Port
Install and Configure MouthWatch Button Capture Software.
This step ensures the camera capture button(s) send images to charts within your digital imaging software.
Note: MouthWatch Capture requires Windows 7 or newer versions.
Reminder: Use Windows 10 Pro or 11 Pro to ensure HIPAA compliance.
- After clicking the download button, choose ‘SAVE’ in the Windows dialog
- Then click “RUN”
- Give permission to install if requested from Windows
- You’ll find the password in your camera box to complete the installation process. If you can’t find the password, contact MouthWatch via phone, chat, or email at: mouthwatch.com/support
Once installed on a Windows PC, you should see a MouthWatch icon in your system tray (the section in the bottom right of your screen where you see the clock, volume, and network icons).
Note: If you don’t see the MouthWatch Capture icon, click the ^ button (indicated by the red arrow in the photo below) to expand the System Tray. You can drag and drop the icon from the expanded System Tray down to your Taskbar.
- Right-click on the icon (it will be orange if the camera is not plugged in, or blue if you have already plugged in the camera).
- Hover over to other software then move to XDR< then select XDR NEW.
You are all set to use your MouthWatch Camera.
