Offline Image Capturing

In this article, you'll learn how to use the offline imaging mode in Archy Imaging Service when you lose internet access. This feature allows you to capture patient images and upload them later when the connection is restored.

Navigate to the system tray located in the lower right corner of your screen. Look for the Archy Imaging Service icon. If it's not immediately visible, check the hidden icons.

Click on the Archy Imaging Service icon to open its window.

To switch to offline mode, select offline in the upper left corner of the Archy Imaging Service window.

Enter the required patient information for offline capture.

Input the patient's birth date.

Choose a mount to use for capturing images.

Now, select the sensor you want to use from the dropdown list. The list of sensors should be similar to what you see in Archy when capturing images online. In this case, we'll use the jazz sensor.

Select continuous capture to take multiple images in succession.

Click Start to begin capturing images.

Once you've captured all necessary images, click cancel on the TWAIN driver and done.

You can view all the captured images under the images tab. They will be stored safely here until you upload them to Archy.

Once your internet connection is restored, log in to Archy and open the patient's profile.

Navigate to the imaging module.

Click on the plus sign. You'll see an option to upload offline images.

Click on this option, and Archy will automatically identify the images you captured offline.

Make sure they are selected and click upload.

After the upload, the images will be displayed in the mount you selected during offline capture, properly oriented.

Congratulations, you've just taken images on your patient in offline mode with Archy Imaging Service.
