Archy has partnered with Pearl to provide real-time dental AI that helps you more easily read radiographs, detect conditions, and communicate your findings to your patients. To learn more about enabling Pearl AI for your practice, reach out to support@archy.com.
This video and article will show you how to use Pearl in Archy.
Accept Pearl Terms of Service From Your Settings
Go to Settings.
Then Clinical.
Then click on Imaging.
Once here, you'll need to review and acknowledge Pearl AI's terms and conditions. Once you have done this, you're ready to start using Pearl.
All new x-ray images you capture will be automatically processed with Pearl AI and should take only a few minutes from the time of capture to return the results.
Using Pearl AI Analysis on a Patient's Images
Select a patient and navigate to their Images section.
If you create a new mount and start capturing images, they will automatically be sent to Pearl for AI analysis. You can also view or request analysis on existing images.
Double-click to open an existing mount. Once inside the mount, open the Pearl AI analysis drawer by clicking the arrow.
If an analysis has already been performed and is in progress or complete, you will see a message that the AI analysis is in progress or complete.
If there are still images that can be sent for processing, you will be able to click the button "Request Analysis"
Once the analysis is complete, you can double-click an image to enter editing mode and view the AI analysis. The AI analysis will return pathologies, non-pathologies, bone level measurements, and tooth parts.
Individual pathologies and non-pathologies can be turned on or off from view by clicking the boxes next to the pathology/non-pathology. The number to the right of the pathology will indicate how many times that item appears on the x-ray.
If you disagree with the detection, you can reject it by clicking the red X when hovering over the detection. You can also accept it by clicking the green checkbox.
To turn on and off the Pathologies/Non-Pathologies, click the Pathologies button.
To turn on and off bone level measurements, click the measurements button.
To turn on and off tooth parts, click the tooth parts button.
