Dexis Twain License Information
Dexis recommends purchasing their Twain license, which includes a built-in image enhancement feature. This enhancement is automatically applied to images and significantly improves visual quality by modifying the default output from the sensor.
Please note the following:
- The Dexis image enhancement feature is available for 30 days as a trial.
- After the trial expires, the enhancement will be removed unless the Twain license is purchased.
- Without this license, you can continue to capture images in Archy using the sensor, but the Dexis-specific enhancement will no longer be applied.
- Image quality can still be improved using Archy’s built-in filtering options, though results may not match the depth of Dexis’s proprietary enhancement.
In summary, the Dexis Twain license is not required to take images in Archy, but it is necessary if you want to retain Dexis’s automatic image enhancement beyond the 30-day trial.
