- There is no new functionality in this billing ledger redesign.
- Every number in existing patients' ledgers is the same.
- This is only a change in design to how the ledger looks.
To access the Patient Ledger, Click Billing
All entries are now grouped by appointment.
Note: Patient Account Adjustments, not attached to an invoice will also show here.
The Ledger now has the following columns: Amount & Outstanding

Amount: The amount produced for that appointment.

The amount column represents production.

Outstanding: The total amount outstanding on the appointment, across the insurance and patient.

The outstanding column represents outstanding collection.

Note: There is one exception to this rule, which is Patient Account Adjustments. Those are collection adjustments.
Each appointment entry will have 2 pills, 1 that shows the outstanding patient balance and 1 that shows the outstanding insurance balance.

Red Pill: The patient and/or Insurance has an outstanding amount to be collected.

Green Pill: Patient and/or Insurance has been paid and has a $0 balance.
If you total the amounts in the patient pills they will total the Patient Balance on the right.
If you total the amounts insurance pills they will total the Insurance Balance on the right.
Create an Invoice with the + Invoice button.
New Collect Payment Button: Click to collect patient payments.
You will have the ability to select which invoice to collect if there are multiple open invoices.
New Invoices Tab:
Click the Invoices tab to see a list of your patient invoices.
Each Invoice will have 1 pill.

Green: Paid

Orange: Partially Paid

Red: Unpaid
Each invoice has an Amount Due column.
This column will show the uncollected patient portion for each invoice.
You can view the Invoice by clicking on the 3 dot menu to the right.
Click on View.
Click on Done to return to the invoice page.
