In this article, you will learn about the Appointment Entries.
Access the Billing Ledger through the patient billing.
To open the appointment entry, click the drop-down arrow.
The appointment entry will always show the most up-to-date procedures and $ amounts for each procedure. The appointment entry represents production.
Note: Appointments will only appear on the ledger once they are completed on the schedule.
There are a few action items you can do using the 3 dot menu:

Edit Appointment: This will take you to the appointment if changes need to be made.

Create Invoice: This will create an invoice for this appointment.
Once the appointment is open you will see a complete breakdown of the appointment.
Just below the appointment, you will see the production breakdown:

UCR: The total UCR fee for the appointment.

Est. Write-off: The estimated write-off for the appointment, if applicable.

Neg Rate: The total negotiated rate of the appointment, if applicable.
Next, you will see the list of Procedures and their CDT Codes from the appointment.
To the right of the procedures you will see 2 columns:

Patient Resp: This is the current patient's responsibility for each line item.

Total patient responsibility is at the bottom of the column

Insurance Pay: This is the current insurance estimate for each line time.

The total insurance estimate is at the bottom of the column.

Under the Appointment Entry, you will see other types of entries tied to this appointment. Click each link to learn more.
