Release Notes - February 2026

Communications:
➡️ Made updates to the online booking flow to support SMS compliance. Phone number is now optional. If your patient adds a number, they are asked 'Yes/No' to opt in to text messages from your practice. 
➡️ Patients with a status of Archived or Deceased are never sent automated communications from Archy.
➡️ The messaging section has new views for Unread messages to make sure you and your staff aren't missing them. You can now also able to "Flag" a message in case it requires follow-up.

Patient:
➡️ Archiving a patient no longer requires you to enter a last name. Patient profiles get created any time the you receive a text message from a new number, so now if you need to archive these because they aren't actually patients, you won't need to take the extra step to add a last name to the profile first.

Scheduling:
➡️ Fixed a bug where trying to drag appointments to a different room was not working on the schedule.

Charting:
➡️ Updated D7951 and D7952 to allow users to select tooth, arch, and quadrant.

Insurance: 
➡️ Added new filters to the Insurance Carrier page and Insurance Plans page to hide carriers/plans with no plans or patients by default.
➡️ You can now override Archy Global Carriers contact information, allowing you to customize the address, phone number, and website to better suit your needs. 
➡️ Released a new coordination of benefits calculation setting, resolving an issue with line item calculation required by select payers on secondary claims.

Claims:
➡️ We now support adding remarks on pre-auths.
➡️ Fixed a bug in the Claims list view for row vertical padding

Mobile:
➡️ Previous versions of the app only showed the available hours on the schedule. Now the whole day is viewable.
➡️ The ability to create new patient mounts is now available
